Thinking Partner

A focused one-off session
to give your big idea the structure to become real

It can be hard to begin when you don’t know where to start.

You might have so many ideas but no idea which to start first.

You might be afraid you can’t do your ideas justice, and feel stuck in the gap between what you imagine and what you know how to do.

You might fear it’s just a pipe dream, and that the people around you might not understand or will judge you for trying.

You might have been talking about doing it for a long time and feel frustrated that you haven’t started yet.

If this feels familiar, it might also feel like a lot of other things too: Confusing. Overwhelming. Isolating.

It’s hard when we don’t even know how to talk about the thing, let alone begin to share it with others. Like the business we dream of. The website we want to build. The ambitious project that needs support.

Sometimes, having a conversation about what you want to build helps translate your big, emerging ideas into something that you can work with. Make steps towards. And create something that really counts.

Enter: your Thinking Partner

One session, 90 minutes
to let your idea unfurl and start to understand the shape of what’s next.

We’ll take 90 mins to unpack what’s going on for you and/or your business, even if it feels non-linear or confusing.

We will talk through what you are building and why it matters, challenges or edges you might be bumping up against, and first thoughts on a plan for moving forward.

Afterwards, you’ll get a summary of our session, outlining what we discussed, any resources that might be supportive, and possible next steps.

Hi, I’m Amanda.

Namer, word person, Integral Coach, magical human.

I’ve spent the last decade and a half helping people put their ideas into words — to take something that is just an inkling of an idea, and give it the structure to grow into something sustainable.

It means people bring me their ideas before they know how to talk about them.

I have helped people and leaders build brands and businesses, express their wildest ambitions to themselves and others, and make it real in the world.

Tracy W.

“Amanda is a great listener; active and gentle at the same time, with an uncanny ability to tie themes together that weren't previously identified as related. She’s great at taking information and synthesizing it into a framework or metaphor that helps make sense of often messy, amorphous feelings.”

Sounds cool, but what might we even do?

There are so many ways we can support how your idea is coming to life.

This space is ideal if you need:

A sounding board for your verbal processing

A reflection partner to help you notice larger patterns

A cheerleader for your goals or project

A planner to break it down into next steps

A fellow small business person and human being trying to figure it out and root into my values.

Together we might:

  • Think through the basic shape of your business idea or portfolio website

  • Explore the right name and narrative for your brand or offering

  • Understand your audience better and start planning how to talk to them

  • Brainstorm content ideas for your newsletter, blog or thought leadership

  • Create your exit strategy from corporate

  • Shape your story as you apply for a new job or promotion

  • Create a clear to-do list for your creative project

  • Bring your big idea, I want to hear about it!

“If you're someone that is looking to have a real partner, when it comes to the struggles that you have, be that personal or professional; that could offer you not only a new perspective, but an enlightened perspective; that really does shine a bright light on the issues but moreso on the solutions that you could have; while feeling cared for, looked after, understood and listened to — I don't think there's any other person that you should go with.”

Lily W.

“Amanda’s compassion, empathy, ability to make sense out of nonsense, and the precise manner in which she uses words. She has a gift for seeing where others don't.”

Curious?
Let’s chat.

I don’t do high pressure — I don’t see a point in pushing someone who isn’t ready or doesn’t resonate with what I’m offering.

Drop me a line and let’s set up a no-pressure curiosity chat to see if we might be a good fit to think together.
